My family called up late in the day, but Mike was still able to get us out in the water with short notice. We rented the 21 foot center console, and he threw in some fishing poles too. What an amazing experience! We had the time of our lives. The boat was clean, well provisioned, and in superb condition!    –Jacob T.

Wow, what can I say other than: pure awesome! Captain Mike is the absolute best! He’s funny, very accommodating, knowledgeable, friendly, fair, and just an all-around cool person!

We drove around the waterway and saw the beauty of the water. We found a remote spot to drop anchor and go swim around, and we got some fishing it, along with a nice picnic. The day could not have been more amazing. It’s all thanks to Topsail Boat Rental and Captain Mike!

I will definitely be coming back here as much as I can!!!!

After searching various websites for boat rentals, I found that Topsail Boat Rentals has the best selection to suit every activity my family wanted to do (boating, fishing, swimming, exploring, tubing).  Not only was the boat selection impressive, but he has every accessory you could want including tubes, skis, fishing gear, etc. at the best prices I could find! — Matt H.

During my recent vacation in Surf City, my family and I wanted to rent a boat to see the island and all the Intercoastal Waterway has to offer.  After searching various websites for boat rentals, I found that Topsail Boat Rentals has the best selection to suit every activity my family wanted to do (boating, fishing, swimming, exploring, tubing).  Not only was the boat selection impressive, but he has every accessory you could want including tubes, skis, fishing gear, etc. at the best prices I could find! I contacted Captain Mike who is extremely personable and easy to work with even at 8am on Sunday morning!  He made sure that we understood the rules of boating and how to operate, and took time to show us the features of the boat (on the actual boat we would use) despite the fact he had other clients waiting.  We had an amazing time on the boat which was obviously well maintained and up to date with accurate GPS and depth finder (definitely needed in the varying waters of the Intercoastal), life jackets, and tie offs. To sum up, there is absolutely no way I will return to Topsail Island WITHOUT contacting Captain Mike to have another memorable excursion!
